The sound of this distortion pedal is so potent, it could easily dethrone all the other metal-based pretender-kings and, while it does pack plenty of power, that power is ultra-variable thanks to the specially voiced three-band EQ section which doesn't just support detailed musical control, but genuinely playful tweaking. This true bypass, relay-switching pedal can run on a standard 9 Volt power supply but when you hook it up to an 18 Volt power supply, you gain maximum headroom.
